TECHNIQUE & SPEED SESSION
Our Technique & Speed Training sessions run every Tues at 5am, designed to boost your running performance and efficiency. Held outdoors, these sessions are perfect for all fitness levels. The program is structured into four-week blocks, each focusing on different aspects of running: Hill Strength, Distance-Based Intervals, and Time-Based Intervals (Fartlek).
ENDURANCE SESSION
Join our endurance sessions every Wed at 5am and take your running to the next level in an inclusive group setting! These 60-minute sessions will help you increase your weekly mileage while exploring various scenic routes along the river. Open to all fitness levels, there's also an option to start earlier for those training for specific events like half marathons, marathons, or ultra marathons.

Katie Dall
A local resident for over 14 years, Katie is renowned for her genuine passion and dedication to her community. As a personal trainer and running coach, she unites diverse groups of like-minded individuals.
With over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, she is an accomplished athlete with significant achievements in natural bodybuilding, triathlons, road and trail running and ultra running. Katie actively collaborates with both local and international charities, using her platform to drive funds and awareness.
Her expertise includes run programs, strength and conditioning tailored for runners, and assisting those new to running. Katie focuses not only on physical fitness but also on helping clients restore balance in their busy lives. Through regular walk-run clubs and engaging social events, she fosters a sense of belonging within the community.
Katie also hosts a variety of regular run clubs from Howard Smith Wharves to Mouth Coot-tha trails that TAC members are invited to join, further expanding the opportunities to connect, stay active, and enjoy running together.

Can I put my membership on hold?Yes, you can pause your membership up to three times within any 12-month period, for a combined total of up to 12 weeks. There is a nominal fee of $5 per week during the pause. You can conveniently set this up through the TAC Member App. Please remember that pauses cannot be applied retroactively and do not count towards fulfilling your contract obligations. Any hold will extend your minimum membership term accordingly.

Is there a cooling-off period after I sign up for a membership?Yes. Our 6 and 12-month memberships include a 7-day cooling-off period starting from the date you sign the membership agreement. Please note that the joining fee and the first week's membership fee are non-refundable.

What add-ons are available for gym and golf memberships?After purchasing a gym or golf membership, members have the opportunity to upgrade their experience at anytime with various discounted add-ons available through the member app. These add-ons include: Add Gym & Group Training to a Golf membership: An extra $37 per week. Add Golf Simulators to a Gym membership: An additional $40 per week. Add Training Programs to a Gym Membership: An additional $40 per week. Add CrossFit Torian to a Gym Membership: An additional $30 per week.

Can I transfer my membership?Yes. You have the flexibility to transfer our 6 or 12 month membership options to a family member, friend, or colleague at any time, provided that they are not currently an active member of Teneriffe Athletic Club.

What are the terms for cancelling my membership?To cancel your membership, a 30-day notice period and fee is required. If you're still within your minimum contract term and wish to cancel early, a fee equivalent to 50% of your remaining balance will be applied.

How are membership payments processed?Your membership fees are billed fortnightly through our third-party direct debit service, Ezypay. The applicable fees for this service are as follows: For direct debit from a bank account: $0.66 (excluding GST). For payments using a MasterCard or Visa: $0.27 plus 1.79% of the transaction amount (excluding GST). For payments using American Express (Amex): $0.27 plus 1.79% of the transaction amount (excluding GST).

What is Track Training?Track Training is is a 45min functional training session that focuses on exercises that replicate everyday actions, enhancing muscle strength, stability, and endurance. It differs from traditional gym workouts by emphasising movements that are practical and useful in daily life.

Is Track Training suitable for beginners?Absolutely! Track Training can be tailored to any fitness level, including beginners. Exercises are adjustable to match individual capabilities and progress.

What should I bring?We request that you bring a water bottle, towel and appropriate workout shoes and attire.

How often should I attend classes?For optimal results, attending 2-3 sessions per week is recommended. This frequency allows for adequate recovery while ensuring consistent progress.

What types of exercises are included?Exercises typically include squats, lunges, push-ups, and movements that mimic lifting, pulling, or pushing, focusing on core stability and muscle coordination.

How does it compare to CrossFit Torian or HIIT?While sharing similarities, Track Training typically focuses on the everyday functional movement patterns and basic compound lifts, without the complex movements found in gymnastics and olympic weightlifting.

Is it safe for people with previous injuries?Yes, with proper guidance. It's crucial to inform the instructor about any previous injuries so that exercises can be modified accordingly for safety.

Do I need to book in to this class and is there a cap?Yes. Members are required to book in to classes in advance and there is a maximum of 22 people per class. Members can book via the Member App or web portal 7 days in advance. If classes are booked out a waitlist will be available. Late cancelation fees may apply.
