Our yoga classes focus on improving flexibility, strength, and overall mobility through mindful movement, breathwork, and deep stretches. Incorporating both Yin and Flow styles, these sessions help enhance range of motion, reduce tension, and support injury prevention.

Carmen

Carmen is a full-time yoga teacher based in Newstead with over 20 years of experience and a decade of teaching. Originally from Malaysia, she discovered yoga after a fast-paced career in fashion and later trained with renowned teachers worldwide. She has led retreats in Asia as well as workshops in Europe. Now in Brisbane with her husband and daughters, she inspires students to use yoga for strength, balance, and self-discovery.

Holding an RYT 500hr certification and Fitness and Sports Coaching qualifications, she blends playfulness with mindfulness to create an accessible yet challenging practice. Carmen believes yoga helps reconnect the body and mind, offering space to reset and restore balance. She is passionate about sharing its benefits through studio classes, workshops, and retreats.
