Exercise Scientist / Coach

I've spent the better part of a decade working with clients at both ends of the spectrum, from people trying to get out of pain and back to daily life, through to athletes chasing performance. The combination of strength and conditioning and allied health has shaped the way I coach: carefully, individually, and always with long-term movement in mind.

Experience

My career started in strength and conditioning, where I developed a love for programming, attention to detail, and helping athletes get the most out of their bodies. From there I moved into an allied health clinic, where I spent several years working with a diverse client base. That breadth means I'm just as comfortable rebuilding someone after a setback as I am pushing a competitive athlete toward their next PB.

Movement has always been my thing. I grew up as a gymnast before moving into field sports like soccer and touch football, and over the years I've explored powerlifting, calisthenics, and different styles of functional fitness. That constant curiosity, picking up new skills and movements, still shapes how I train and how I coach today.

Coaching Philosophy

I'm driven by helping people, and I pride myself on matching their energy no matter what the goal is. I'm especially passionate about working with those who feel stuck, limited, or sidelined by injury. My programs are built around the individual, because when it comes to training, context is the most important part.

Being strong is good. Being mobile is good. Being both is great. That balance is what I aim for in every program I write, because I want my clients moving well, feeling capable, and building a body that holds up for the long haul. And the gymnastics kid in me will always insist that technique comes first.

I'm constantly working on my own development, learning, training, and giving myself every opportunity to become a better coach. My goal is simple: to bring out the best version of every client who walks through the door.
